I'm a Licensed PTA and I have background experience as a Physical Therapy Specialist with the US Army. Many times I've been asked to explain in layman's terms what a condition or disability is exactly. I plan on using my time here on Suite101 to do just that, to give simple, clear cut definitions to some of the more confusing wordage used in the medical field.

I feel strongly that everyone deserves to completely understand what has been done or what is about to be done medically, and that a little bit of clear information can lead to that understanding. If you have a particular condition that needs clarification please make an inquiry and I will do my best to provide an answer.
